George M. Manuel Library

The university library was named on October 22, 1970, in honor of George M. Manuel, who served the institution faithfully as history professor, dean of men, and the first professional librarian.

The library functions as the hub of academic life by providing rich resources that represent authoritative voices of the past and present. Students, faculty, staff, and the community can convene in spaces designed for collaborative study, or patrons can utilize the areas designated for silent research.
