This course offers an in-depth investigation into several topics, including discrete Fourier transformations(DFT), fast Fourier transformations, convolution blocks, and finite/infinite response filters encompassing various forms of filter structure, including direct (I, II), cascade, and parallel. The course establishes an understanding of multirate signal processing and subband coding and an introduction to wavelets utilizing Matlab and Simulink applications for signal processing.
