Semiconductor Physics for Engineering

This course introduces the basic concepts of quantum mechanics and teaches students to apply these concepts to various physical situations. This course covers topics in modern physics, including the special theory of relativity, wave properties of matter, quantum mechanics, the structure of the atom, statistical physics, molecules and solids, semiconductor theory and devices, and nuclear physics. This course will also cover topics on nanostructured materials and nanoscale electronics.
